What is the Love Inside Out Press mission?
Love Inside Out (LIO) Press is an author-centric publishing house that empowers writers to release the revelation God has put on their heart to share with the church. Our passion is to see the body of Christ encouraged, healed, unified and empowered and we believe writers are being tapped to express what God is sharing with them.
What does “Partnership Publishing” mean?
Partnership publishing is an alternative model to traditional publishing that allows new authors to publish more quickly, with more creative input and still enjoy the excellent quality. Once a manuscript is accepted to publish, the author invests the money and the publisher handles all the fine details and moving parts like distribution, cover art, etc.
How much does it cost to publish my book through Love Inside Out Press?
LIO Press offers transparent pricing with two simple publishing options. Due to the complexities of publishing and unforeseen circumstances, prices may vary. The prices below are starting points. Additional costs will be discussed with the author before entering into an agreement.
What is the average turnaround time for a book to be published?
The author can expect an average of four to eight months from acceptance of a completed manuscript to their official sale date, depending on the complexities in the book and unforeseen circumstances.
Why should I choose LIO Press over self-publishing?
When authors choose to self-publish, quality can suffer. When excellence is compromised it often leads to lowered sales and poor book reviews, as well.
The process of securing a reliable and talented team of professionals can also be very overwhelming. Some people choose to take the time and energy to research, find and hire their own team of people and that’s perfectly OK!
I can self-publish myself for cheaper. Why would I want to be published with you?
Great question! LIO Press has assembled a team of highly qualified and professional designers, editors and launch team managers who will care about you and your project. Often quality suffers when authors self-publish and have their family or friends as editors and designers. There are many beautiful and excellent self-published books on the market. Whatever you choose, we bless you! We’re in this to glorify God, not to make money.
Is Love Inside Out Press highly competitive?
In order to stay focused on our authors, we are only able to take on several projects per year. As our ministry grows, we will be able to take on more projects.

When will I hear back from you on the status of my manuscript?
Once you have completed the submission form, you will receive an email from us within four to eight weeks.
Will you book podcast opportunities for me?
Once your book is officially on the market, our work together is complete. Although our professional collaboration is completed, we will continue to pray for you and your books reach. All media and marketing opportunities will be the responsibility of the author.
Do you market my book after it is published?
LIO Press does not market your book for you, however we do ensure your book is listed on main retail channels such as Amazon.com and BN.com. Often well-performing books appear on Target.com, Walmart.com and other Christian-run online bookstores, such as Christianbook.com. It will also be available on Kindle. After the initial book launch, the author holds all responsibility as to how they will market their book.
Can I put pictures in my book? Is it more expensive?
You can put as many pictures in your book as you’d like! Our pricing structure does not change, however please be aware full color photos will affect your printing price if you want to order books for an event, for example. Please keep in mind that this will change how much it costs to produce the book and therefore will affect the sale price.
