Meet the Love Inside Out team

Rev. Bruce & Shay Mason

Bruce and Shay Mason founded Love Inside Out, Inc. in 2020 as an expression of their deep passion and desire to help Christians come to know God as their real Father and to live from their true identity as the Father’s beloved sons and daughters. They also share a deep love for the Body of Christ and long to see it healed, renewed, unified and empowered so the Church can live out its calling as God’s loving presence in our broken world.

Bruce

Bruce has served in a variety of capacities over his ministry career including as a church lead pastor, the head of an interdenominational healing and teaching ministry, the communications director of a para-church ministry, a coach for a mission team, and a short-term missionary. He is also an ordained Anglican Priest/Pastor in the Anglican Church of North America. Bruce has grown to know and love God personally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and believes that Jesus came to tangibly establish and manifest the Kingdom of God ‘on earth as in heaven’. Bruce was dramatically healed by God of a life-threatening illness in 1998. As a result, he is also a passionate believer in the healing power of Jesus Christ. Above all, his heart is to live as a son to his loving Heavenly Father.

Bruce received an MA in Evangelical and Charismatic Studies from the University of Birmingham, UK. Previously, he received a BTh in Theology from Oxford University, UK (Wycliffe Hall), as well as an MA in Political Management from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He earned a BA in English from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY.

Shay

Shay is a freelance writer and blogger. Her blog, The Spacious Place, can be found at shaysmason.com. She is also a contributor at Iola Bookazine, a UK-based Christian women’s publication. One of Shay’s passions is helping people live from a place of love. She is an autoimmune disease and OCD overcomer and firm believer in God’s healing power.

Shay received an MA in Jewish—Christian Relations from Cambridge University (UK) and a Diploma in Biblical and Theological Studies from Oxford University (UK). Shay also holds an MA in Government from Johns Hopkins University and a BA in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University. Prior to entering full-time ministry, Shay spent many years as a Congressional staffer, working for three US Members of Congress in both Washington, DC and upstate New York.

Bruce and Shay love to spend their free time traveling, reading, hiking, and exploring their new state of North Carolina. Bruce can sometimes be found summiting mountains with their teenage son, while Shay is more likely to be found enjoying a new coffee shop with their early-twenties daughter. The Masons have a spoiled, yet beloved, Goldendoodle and love cheering for the Chicago Cubs. As a family, they have spent extensive time ministering in Madagascar.

Janie Giebelhaus

Director of Content and Care Ministries

Janie considers herself a ‘modern-day Thomas’ and loves to say “God showed me his hands.” She accepted Jesus’ love at an early age, but struggled with fear and doubt until Jesus encountered her time and time again.

Traveling and sharing Jesus became her biggest passions, and after graduating from University of Colorado in 2014, she went into full-time missions, serving sex-trafficked teens, Native Americans on the Navajo Reservation, and orphaned and vulnerable children in Durban, South Africa. To her amazement, God led her to settle in Raleigh, a city she knew very little about. It is here that He led her into more conference speaking engagements and also to share His love through the prophetic.

Janie assists with teaching, content development and creating course curriculum. She’s passionate about helping others tell their story and helps to faciliate storytelling through video content. Janie also prepares teaching materials for online and in-person courses, which are designed to deepen participants’ relationship and intimacy with the Trinity. On the healing prayer side, Janie coordinates and schedules prayer appointments in addition to ministering.

Janie is passionate about sharing how to hear God’s voice, the beautiful freedom and peace that comes from knowing our identities as God’s beloved, and the power of truth in a world searching for meaning.

You can also find her thoughts in various publications and on her website, janiebrain.com
